Top 10 Family Soule Holiday Quotes
#10 "Santa is watching you . . .RIGHT NOW ! ! !" (Aubrey - age 27)
This phrase was repeated often through out the month of December. As a result Jaden is officially scared of Santa . . . I didn't really think that one through . . .
#9 "We are soooo getting FLU SHOTS next year!" (Aubrey - age 27)
Have I said this more than #10? . . . es possible . . .that's Cuban for "Yes!"
#8 "Mom, did Santa see that?" (Madeleine - age 5)
Why yes Madi . . . he did . . . he did see that.
#7 "Hi, my name is Daddy, I like to torment my babies." (Madeleine - age 5)
Said in a deep mocking voice, which Santa very much appreciated.
#6 "That's disgusting! MOMMY THAT'S DISGUSTING!!!" (Jaden - age 3)
Jaden's opinion of Mommy praying to the porcelain god . . . dumb lock on the bathroom door broke . . .and I thought the boy would never speak . . . We are soooo getting FLU SHOTS next year!
#5 "How much longer are you going to be sick for?" (Larry -age 38 cradle robber)
Said to his poor wife, who miraculously rose from her death bed long enough to inflict some holiday hall Decking. FLU SHOTS . . . yada . . . yada . . .
#4 "Mom, Jaden just flushed a bunch of stuff down the toilet!" (Madeleine -age 5).
Luckily the silverware proved un-flush-able. I'm still missing a thumb-drive, dishwasher cap, and the lambs from the nativity set.

Screamed in a tear-choked voice right before he took her down with a full body tackle. She was planning to tattle about his latest toilet fiasco. Santa saw everything.
#2 "You sound doubtful . . .was it an EPT test or a Magic 8-Ball?" (Aubrey - age 27)
Said in a conversation on Christmas Eve. Christmas is all about babies.
#1 "JADEN, SANTA IS WATCHING YOU RIGHT NOW ! ! !" (Aubrey - age 27)
Yelled at the Christmas Eve Goodwin Family Devotional. The boy had just received a Christmas gift from his adoring Grand Ma and Pa. During a temper tantrum the unopened gift was lifted over his head. He was going to chuck it.
epilogue: Jaden did indeed chuck the gift in front of grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins etc. etc. The reactions varied from ghoulish delight to covert disparagement of the child's parents and the common consent that the Soules have very little to do with "Peace on earth, Good will to men".
P.S. The gift was Monster Pajamas . . . he is still wearing them.
